Little Dudes

July 15, 2011

Little dudes is what my friend Robynn calls her twin sons.  They are little, I think Nay has about 5lbs on them and when you only weigh 30lbs five is a lot!  But what they lack in size they more than make up for in energy, which is why when it comes to throwing them a birthday party Robynn went all out!  Cake and Nay were totally engrossed the entire time we were there from the pool and bouncy castle, and crafts, and food I think Nay ate his body weight in chips that day.  I wanted to share some of the adorable photos I managed to snap while we were there.  It’s sort of nice having two kids who are reliable mostly because I was able to get some great pictures that day.  Of course…I will share that Nay wet himself three times during the two hour party.  Yes, apparently using the potty is an option when you could be playing in a clubhouse.  Luckily most of the kids there were still in diapers anyway so they didn’t seem to care!  On to some pictures!!

The birthday theme was robots, it was awesome!!

Time to blow out the candles!!!

Poor little guys react horribly to mosquito bites and had so many all over their faces.  Good thing they had cake to distract them from the itchy’s!

This was Nay's homebase for most of the party.

Proud Mommy, she has the most beautiful smile out of anyone I've ever met. Also, a talented party organizer she's probably already planning the party for next year!

Craft table, decorate a robot!

Cake in the bouncy house

This is our neighbours new puppy. Her name is Sookie, she is frickin cute and she still has all her cute fuzzy puppy fur and she was so tuckered out from the party that she just laid down and fell asleep right infront of me.

Cake is giving her Aunt Robynn a nice strangle hug here. Cake ADORES her Aunt Robynn I foresee many girlie adventures with the three of us as Cake gets older.

Pedicures and Shopping?  Yes, please!

Nay eating his third piece of cake.

Okay, this is getting pretty picture heavy…so just one more.

Proud Daddy, also a great smiler!

Okay, one more.

Cute baby kissy face!

As usual Robynn, you threw an amazing party and everyone had a blast!  Those boys are beyond adorable and I’m so lucky to be a part of their lives.

What a fun day! Planning parties for little ones is so much fun isn’t it. Makes you feel like a kid again yourself. Glad the weather co-operated…now to find a way to keep the bugs from crashing the festivities for next year 😉
